Job Profile

Rey & Lenferna Ltd is looking for a motivated and detailed-oriented Trainee Engineer within our Water Services Department, who will be responsible for providing technical knowledge to ensure effective and efficient services are provided to our clients.

Role & Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients to ensure that electrical, plumbing, and equipment installations are completed to the highest standards.
• Conduct site surveys, prepare designs, and carry out material take-offs.
• Manage stock orders and ensure timely follow-up for spare parts and replenishment.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and following up on service orders.
• Prepare quotations and maintenance contracts.
• Perform project costing and related evaluations.
• Attend emergency calls after office hours or during weekends in case of breakdowns.
• Any other cognate duties may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least one year’s experience in a similar role.

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude

• Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
