Technical Training & Development Lead

Tropic Knits Ltd, specialized in the manufacture of jersey garments, based in Forest Side is part of the Fine Knits cluster of Ciel Textile. The Technical Training & Development Lead shall be reporting to the Regional Operations Manager

What you will be doing:

• Implement the Company’s Sewing Technical Training strategy
• Develop technical training programs
• Deliver high quality on the job training
• Monitor progress and performance of operators
• Devising technical training programs according to organisational requirements 
• Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
• Observe and evaluate results of training programs
• Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements
• Develop talents among sewing operators 

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience as technical trainer in a fine knits manufacturing company
• Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
• Experience in designing technical course content
• Ability to address training needs with complete courses
• Working knowledge in MS Office (especially Power point)
• Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
