About the role:

The role is within the environment of our Enterprise Tools, the Technical Lead of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud domain, and is responsible for leading the development and implementation of technical solutions that support complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns. You’ll act as the bridge between strategy and execution, working closely with the different teams to ensure robust and scalable solutions.

As a member of an international team, the technical lead will be working closely together with internal stakeholders, the product team as well as other teams to create user stories and to prioritize these for the team. Together with the team you take the end-to-end responsibility to further evolve the tools and follow up on projects until completion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical architecture, development, and deployment of Marketing Cloud solutions.
  • Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable, technical solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation, configuration, and technical extension of Marketing Cloud solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and data sources.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and junior engineers.
  • Ensure platform performance, reliability, and compliance with security standards.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal users on Marketing Cloud capabilities, campaign setup, and data management best practices.
  • Maintain documentation, best practices, and reusable components for marketing solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest features, tools, and capabilities within the Marketing Cloud ecosystem.
  • Validation of the product vision with internal customers.
  • Responsible for the technical stability of the product.
  • Define product requirements, taking care of the completeness, integrity and technical consistency.
  • Participate in sprint planning meetings to confirm priorities and, if needed, clarify requirements.
  • Communication with stakeholders as well as suppliers of Enterprise tools within your portfolio.
  • Participate in the tribe’s roadmap, program and release planning.
  • Regular and structured reporting on the enterprise tools.
  • Be able to create actional insights for future improvements.

Educational / Skill / Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in IT/IT related fields or equal by experience.
  • Min 3 years of working experience within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to acquire quickly a good insight into the SD Worx business.
  • Can translate business needs into clear requirements and objectives.
  • Experience in working in Agile squads. Working in international environment is considered as a plus.
  • Strong in process thinking, attitude of continuous optimization.
  • Can prioritize, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strong focus on scale and standardization.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
  • Making sure the team understands requirements correctly.
  • Being a team player and flexible.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and writing).
  • Proactive and can-do attitude.
