The Technical IT Process Analyst should be detail-oriented and analytical. He/She will play a pivotal role in analysing, designing, and optimising IT processes, with a strong emphasis on technical documentation and procurement management.
Responsibility
- Evaluate existing IT processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements that drive operational excellence.
- Develop and roll out new IT processes that improve service delivery, reduce risk, and align with industry best practices.
- Create, maintain, and manage comprehensive technical documentation, including process maps, flowcharts, and procedural guides.
- Work closely with IT, procurement, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design tailored process solutions.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and prepare regular reports for leadership.
- Conduct process audits, manage remediation of risk and compliance issues, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Oversee IT procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and lifecycle management of IT assets.
- Provide training and support to staff on new or updated processes, ensuring smooth adoption and consistent application.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and lead initiatives to continuously improve IT process maturity and service quality.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT process management or a similar role.
- Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or equivalent frameworks are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in procurement and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
