The Store Attendant will support the efficient operation of the store by ensuring accurate inventory management, maintaining a clean and organised environment, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact, provide assistance and address queries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ensure accurate stock keeping of shelves and product availability at all times.
- Process transactions efficiently and accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards within the store premises
- Monitor store activities to safeguard assets and prevent losses.
- Assist in receiving goods and verify items against purchase orders and invoices.
- Prompt reporting of damaged or missing items to the Stock Controller.
- Perform additional store-related tasks as assigned, including assisting as Diesel Pump Attendant when required.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Skills & Competencies:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in teams
- Good interpersonal skills
- IT literate
Qualifications:
- Minimum: School Certificate or equivalent.
Experience:
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
