Senior QA Automation Engineer

Ya Tech Ltd is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to establish and lead our automated testing practice for live betting platforms on web and mobile. You will design and implement scalable automation frameworks, build CI/CD-integrated test infrastructure, and ensure end-to-end platform quality.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Development

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and Puppeteer (TypeScript).
• Build cloud-deployable automated tests integrated with Google Cloud Functions and modern CI/CD tools.
• Implement scheduled test executions and automated deployment pipelines.
• Develop scalable, maintainable test frameworks from scratch.

Quality Ownership

• Execute tests for new features and releases across web and mobile platforms.
• Identify and address quality gaps proactively.
• Define and document QA standards, best practices, and procedures.
• Monitor platform stability and performance using automated checks.

Team Coordination

• Collaborate with international manual testing teams; gather and analyze feedback.
• Partner closely with the Product Manager on release planning and quality strategy.
• Operate with high autonomy and ownership in a distributed environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have

• 4+ years of senior-level QA automation experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and Puppeteer.
• Proficiency in TypeScript for automation.
• Proven experience building test frameworks from scratch.
• CI/CD pipeline integration skills.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and accountable working style.
• Excellent English communication skills (international collaboration).
• Hybrid work availability in Mauritius (3 days on-site / 2 remote).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (training provided).
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflow automation tools.
• Exposure to serverless platforms (Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda).
• Background in betting, gaming, or fintech.
• Experience leading or coordinating distributed testing teams.
• Knowledge of performance/load testing tools and practices.
