Senior Financial Operations Executive
Our client is seeking for a senior financial operations to ensure the smooth financial operations, regulatory compliance, and effective management of administrative and HR processes. The FOM oversees loan disbursements and repayments, financial reporting, payroll, and risk management, while supporting the management team and Board.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations:
Supervise loan disbursements and repayments.
Oversee payment authorizations, bank reconciliations, and treasury operations.
Monitor borrower and lender accounts and execute pledges when required.
Accounting & Reporting:
Prepare monthly management accounts, weekly cash-flow analyses, and yearly financial forecasts.
Oversee regulatory reporting and liaise with auditors, banks, and accountants.
Review and authorize all employee and supplier payments.
Human Resources & Administration:
Manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, leave, and HR compliance.
Ensure smooth administrative support for management and the Board.
Risk Management & Compliance:
Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
Support internal and external audits and escalate risks promptly.
Process Improvement & Technology:
Drive efficiency improvements across finance and HR workflows.
Collaborate with Tech/Data teams to enhance CRM/LMS related to financial processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Banking, Economics, Business or related).
4–6 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or audit.
Understanding of financial operations in a lending business.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, VBA/SQL, and databases.
Knowledge of HR and payroll processes.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills in English and French.
Proactive, flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
