Key Responsibilities:
Sales Coordination:
- Support the sales team in managing relationships with travel agents, wholesalers, tour operators, OTAs, and luxury travel advisors.
- Assist in creating and updating contracts, special offers, and promotional packages in coordination with the Revenue and Reservations teams.
- Handle follow-ups with inbound leads from B2C and B2B sources — ensuring a high conversion rate from inquiry to booking.
- Coordinate FAM trips and site inspections for travel agents and tour operators
- Assist in compiling daily and monthly sales performance reports, including booking pace, source market analysis, and partner performance tracking.
- Prepare and distribute sales collateral (e.g., fact sheets, presentations, brochures, videos)
- Work closely with the Reservations, and Guest Relations teams to ensure smooth pre-arrival arrangements for guests and VIPs.
- Support seasonal and tactical campaigns, including flash sales, last-minute offers, and OTA promotions.
- Monitor travel trends and booking patterns in key source markets (e.g., Europe, Middle East, South Africa…).
- Assist in preparing for international travel trade shows (e.g., ILTM, WTM, ITB), and follow up with leads generated from these events.
- Coordinate and update OTA listings and extranets in collaboration with the Revenue team.
Marketing Support:
- Assist in implementing the resort’s marketing plan across digital, print, and on-property channels.
- Coordinate social media posts, newsletters, and promotional campaigns with the Marketing Manager.
- Help manage the resort’s online presence (website, OTAs, social media, etc.).
- Liaise with photographers, media partners, and design agencies for content production.
- Monitor competitor marketing activity and local tourism trends.
Event and PR Support:
- Assist in planning and coordinating events, VIP visits, and media engagements at the resort.
- Support public relations initiatives and ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Help organize resort participation in trade shows, travel expos, and marketing roadshows.
Administrative Tasks:
- Manage calendars, appointments, and correspondence for the sales & marketing team.
- Maintain an organized database of marketing materials and sales documents.
- Generate and distribute reports, guest feedback summaries, and campaign analytics.
- Ensure smooth internal communication across departments for all promotional activities.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Familiarity with leisure market dynamics, especially within Mauritius and international feeder markets.
- Familiarity with hotel booking systems Opera.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French (both written and verbal); knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
