SENIOR BEAUTICIAN- MAKEUP ARTIST AND HAIR STYLIST

Provide professional beauty and grooming services and guidelines

Role

• Contribute to the continued development and growth of the Resort upscale genuine wellness and spa and optimisation of revenue by complementing beauty enhancements and wellbeing requirements services of the Beauty Parlour with Hotel wellness facilities
• Ensure the Beauty Parlour achieve its potential
• Passionate beautician and hairdresser dedicated to the beautification and wellbeing of Hotel Guests
• Create unique and desired hairstyling and makeup looks to enhance clients’ facial features and achieve intended special occasions, including theatrical effects
• Deliver exceptional cosmetic services to exceed client expectations
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and expand client database
  • Ensure that Guests walking out look good and feel confident

Duties and responsibilities

Provide professional beauty and grooming services and guidelines to both men and women:

1. Haircuts and shampooing
2. Hair styling for bridal, glamour and special occasions, including buns, blowouts, curls, braids, ponytails for bridal, special events
3. Haircoloring, highlights, ombre, balayage and root dyes
4. Therapeutic hair and scalp treatments
5. Makeup applications based on face shape, skin tone and facial features
6. Create diverse makeup looks for special occasions including bridal, glamour, beauty and adapt to specific client preferences
7. Waxing
8. Manicure & Pedicure
9. Classic and Gel Nail Polish
10. Holistic treatments and massages
11. Scheduling and setting up appointments for Guests
12. Ensure that all items of equipment are meticulously clean and well maintained
13. Interacting with Guests to explore achievement of objectives
14. Meet or exceed sales goals and targets
15. Contribute to the creation of sales and marketing offers to promote products and cosmetics
16. Manage inventory, avoid wastage and ensure constant availability of supplies as well as keep track of lotions, nail polishes, facial creams, and other beauty products
17. Keep the work area clean and create a pleasant atmosphere for hotel Guests
18. Build long lasting relationships with Hotel Beauty Parlour Guests by ensuring regular professional Guest follow ups
    1. Keep updated on current hairstyles and fashion trends
    2. Provide daily sales summary report

REQUIREMENTS

Technical

• Diploma in hairdressing, makeup artistry and beauty care
• Knowledge of cosmetology, skin care principles and procedures
• 3+ years of experience as a Makeup Artist Hair Stylist, including hair coloring, waxing, facials, manicure and pedicure
• Knowledge and experience in providing spa massages is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of makeup products, techniques and beauty tools

Skills

• Ability to use various types of hair grooming tools, i.e., trimmers, scissors and hair grooming tools and beauty equipment
• Creative, artistic and detail oriented
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and interpersonal skills
