The Recovery Officer is responsible for ensuring the efficient collection of unreturned 5G routers from churn customers and recovering outstanding bill payments. The role also includes door-to-door delivery of mobile phones.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contact churn customers to arrange the return of 5G routers
- Follow up on overdue bill payments and negotiate settlement agreements
- Deliver mobile phones to customers following proper verification protocols
- Ensure customer issues are escalated when necessary and collaborate with the Retention Team for resolution
- Support revenue recovery through timely collection of outstanding customer balances
- Coordinate with the Retention Team to reduce churn and maximise asset returns
- Contribute to operational efficiency by providing accurate recovery and delivery data
- Ensure proper handover of collected devices and payments as per internal procedures
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum HSC (Higher School Certificate)
- Prior experience as a Recovery Officer or background in law enforcement would be an advantage
Required Skills and Aptitudes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, along with strong negotiation skills
- Sound business acumen, with the ability to analyse market trends, identify business opportunities, and make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work responsibly with sensitive information and company assets
- Ability to work flexible and odd hours, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driving license and own car (mandatory)
