The reservation coordinator will manage the booking process for services like accommodations or events, acting as the main point of contact for guests to confirm reservations, answer inquiries, and ensure a smooth experience
Core responsibilities:
- Handle bookings: Manage and process reservations efficiently, gathering all necessary details from guests.
- Serve as the point of contact: Act as the primary contact for inquiries about room rates, availability, and services.
- Ensure guest satisfaction: Provide prompt, courteous service to ensure a positive guest experience from the first contact through their stay.
- Manage reservations systems: Maintain full proficiency in using reservation software (PMS) for data entry and record-keeping.
- Coordinate with other departments: Liaise with departments like front desk, sales, and accounts to manage rooming lists, group blocks, and special requests.
- Maintain records: Keep guest files, reservation correspondence, and booking records updated and organized.
