QUALITY EXECUTIVE

Winners, the leading supermarket chain in Mauritius is looking for a Quality Executive to consolidate its Quality team within its supermarkets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the food safety and standard operating procedures.
Ensure ongoing compliance with HACCP and local legislation in all the outlets.
Develop and update quality documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality manuals.
Implement policies and procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide guidance and regular training to team members on quality procedures and best practices and HACCP regulations.
Prepare reports on quality activities.
Conduct internal audits and involve stakeholders in the process.
Liaise, coordinate and support on-site audits or inspections conducted by external providers.
Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
Keep up with current industry trends and changes in quality standards to ensure continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Degree in Food Science OR any other equivalent qualification
3 years of experience in Quality management in the Retail sector or any similar environment
Conversant with MS Office package
Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and best practices
Holder of a valid driving licence

Available to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as odd hour
