Public Relations Manager - Tamassa, Café LUX and Ile Des Deux Cocos

To develop and execute a strategic PR and Communications plan that increases awareness and positive perception of the resort, its facilities, services and personal.

 

Responsibilities

  • Execute and implement the Press & PR Strategic plan at resort level, in line with the corporate strategy to position the property both locally and internationally;
  • Retain and Share relevant updates of the hotel industry, politics, entertainment and leisure;
  • Cultivate relationships with key press specialists and journalists in national and international publications;
  • Develop compelling story angles relevant to the brand and the resort name, pitch stories to both national and local media to achieve visibility for in-print, online media and social platforms;
  • Manage visual identity on line & off line and tone of voice based on the nature/identity of each resort;
  • Proactively manage and generate creative content for all the social media platforms relevant to the properties in line with Social Media KPIs;
  • Manage image and reputation management;
  • Assist with marketing and promotions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations/Journalism/Communications

Experience:

  • 2 – 5 years in a Managerial position in PR/Communication
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry

Other requirements:

• High levels of integrity;

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French, a 3rd language will be an advantage

• A strong sense of quality and a creative mindset

• A self-starter that can multi-task and prioritize

• Proficiency in leveraging social media networks and related monitoring tools (Facebook, Twitter etc. )

• The ability to create newsworthy events, develop story ideas and follow through with pitch leads

• Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills

• Dynamic and flexible attitude

• Valid driving license is a must;

• A clean certificate of character is a must.
