Project & Infrastructure Manager
Reporting to the Managing Director the Project & Infrastructure Manager will be responsible to:
Main duties:
- Plan, oversee and manage all construction projects of the Company (and the Group).
- Prepare site layout plans for constructions.
- Provide Bill of Quantity to determine project feasibility.
- Advise on purchasing of related construction materials and equipment.
- Liaise and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, engineers, architects, etc to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of works.
- Conduct site visits as and when required.
- Report to management on work progress regularly.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of site infrastructure constructions, planning, maintenance and repairs.
- Manage Materials Inventory File.
- Oversee and manage the Site Infrastructure Team including, but not limited to planning of daily work of Infrastructure/maintenance personnel.
- Advise Supply Chain Manager on performance of suppliers and quality of materials.
- Prepare and monitor the SI budget.
- Perform cost analysis after completion of projects and submit reports to Management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant requirements, regulations, standards and specifications.
- Manage and submit the relevant permits as and when required.
- Oversee the conduct of regular inspections as established by the Company.
- Closely collaborate with the Mechanical & Electrical Team as and when required.
- Conduct and oversee safety training relative to construction, maintenance and repairs activities.
- Maintain and update detailed records of infrastructure including but not limited to site plans, building plans, engineers’ plans, etc.
- Perform all other cognate duties as instructed by the Reporting Line and/or other Management Representatives
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree/MSc in construction/civil engineering, concrete and metal works.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant field.
- Technical expertise in construction processes, concrete and metal works and project management.
