Our client is looking for a Procurement Executive – Projects.
                         
                        Manage procurement of products, materials, and services while overseeing projects. The role ensures cost-effective sourcing, timely and on-budget delivery, and compliance with quality standards, acting as a key link between suppliers, contractors, engineering teams, and hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monitoring of energy, water, and utility consumption across hotels, ensuring efficiency and identifying variances.
- Liaise with engineering teams to ensure proper calibration and reporting of installed meters.
- Provide regular analysis and recommendations to management for performance improvement.
- Ensure adoption and effective use of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) across properties.
- Support hotel engineering teams with queries, data accuracy, and compliance with maintenance schedules.
- Track and validate preventive maintenance plans, work orders, and asset history for consistency and quality.
- Oversee procurement of spare parts, materials, and tools in line with budget and technical specifications.
- Monitor usage trends, validate requests, and flag anomalies in inventory or stock levels.
- Work with procurement and engineering teams to ensure materials are cost-effective, compliant, and delivered on time.
- Act as on-site representative for renovation, refurbishment, and new projects.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers, ensuring progress aligns with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor installation and works for compliance with engineering, safety, and brand quality standards.
- Review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and project budgets to support financial planning and control.
- Support claims, variations, and payment certification processes in line with contractual and project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reporting progress, risks, and quality findings to management.
- Manage administrative processes related to procurement, contracts, and supplier records.
- Assist in evaluating supplier and contractor performance, including compliance with quality and service agreements.
- Maintain clear documentation of quotations, contracts, and supplier interactions.
Profile
- Degree/Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, facilities, or engineering project support (hospitality experience an advantage).
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory control, and vendor management.
- Knowledge of utilities monitoring, CMMS systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to interpret bills of quantities, cost estimates, and project budgets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project/procurement systems.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative communicator, able to liaise effectively with contractors, suppliers, and hotel teams.
- Results-driven with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and quality.
