Our client is seeking to recruit a qualified, experienced, and inspiring educational leader to take on the role of Principal for Academic Affairs.
The successful candidate will oversee the day to day management of the school's academic programme, provide leadership to teaching staff, and support the Head of School in managing the whole school environment. This role requires a strong passion for curriculum development, international education, and student wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership & Management:
- Oversee the daily management and delivery of the school's academic programme.
- Ensure that teaching and learning practices align with the school's mission and guiding statements.
- Lead curriculum development initiatives to ensure high-quality, innovative, and relevant learning experiences.
- Monitor academic performance and implement improvement plans where necessary.
Teaching Staff Leadership:
- Inspire, mentor, and support the teaching team to achieve excellence in all academic areas.
- Provide professional learning guidance and promote continuous development among teachers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high expectations.
Support to Head of School:
- Work closely with the Head of School to ensure smooth operation of the whole school.
- Contribute to strategic planning and participate in senior leadership decision-making.
- Assist with school-wide initiatives, policies, and operational matters as required.
Community Engagement & Communication:
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Promote positive relationships within the school community and uphold the school's values.
- Represent the academic function in meetings, presentations, and official events.
Profile:
- At least master's in education.
- A minimum of 5 years' working experience in a similar position.
- Proven leadership experience in the MYP and IB DP/CP (preferably).
- A strong track record of educational leadership at a senior level.

- Strong communication, organisational, and management skills.
