Pre-Registered Nurse

C-Care is currently looking for Pre- Registered Nurses to be a part of the dynamic and talented multicultural healthcare team Pre-registered Nurse in Medical/Surgical Wards

The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Head of Nursing to deliver appropriate level of nursing care to patients. 

• Effective and smooth admission, discharge and transfer of patients
• Ensure safety of patients at all times
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care and act accordingly to any anomaly
• Attend to patients’ daily activities of living according to needs
• Administration of prescribed drugs - orally, intramuscular and intravenously
• Implement and maintain Hospital policies, procedures and routines
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team
• Effective documentation of care
• Administration of prescribes drugs - orally, intramuscular and intravenously
• Follow infection control policy and procedure
• Effective disposal of waste
• Take charge of the ward in the absence of Senior Nurse
• Be a mentor to junior colleagues
• Ensure confidentiality at all times

What are we looking for?

• Final year student-Diploma/ Degree in Nursing ( Recognised by the Nursing Council in Mauritius) 
• Computer literate
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
