Pharmacy Dispenser

We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team at Life Medical Clinic Bon Pasteur.

We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team at Life Medical Clinic Bon Pasteur. 

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense drugs under supervision of pharmacist.
• Assists patients in delivering medication and competing other sales transactions.
• Abide to the Pharmacy Act and Dangerous Drug Act.
• Issue dangerous drugs and ensure proper entries are done in Dangerous Drug Book.
• Ensure the proper handover of Dangerous Drugs is conducted at the start of the next roster, during staff transitions.
• Ensure that stock of dangerous drugs tally with Dangerous Drug Book.
• Dispensing drugs to wards and perform the transfer accordingly on system.
• Responsible for issuing miscellaneous items upon discharge.
• Verify case sheet when performing discharge.
• Prepare the file of discharged inpatients.
• Involve in stock management.
• Check drugs when received from wholesales and process invoices.
• Ensure proper storage of drugs and other consumables.
• Ensure that all invoices are processed accordingly.
• Responsible of the stock of Pharmacy and OT main.
• Be present during inventory.
• Responsible of the cashier.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate/Diploma in dispensing.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients and the public.
• Organized, autonomous, and respectful of instructions and hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
