The successful incumbent will:
Plan and coordinate the smooth operation of the Front Office
Department ( Public Relations, and Concierge) while
ensuring proper room allocation and strict adherence to financial
procedures.
Actively participate in and oversee the provision of excellent guest
service.
Interact with guests to obtain feedback and suggestions for
improvement.
Verify that guest history and profile records are accurately completed
and updated.
Handle customer complaints efficiently through appropriate interaction
and in accordance with the Hotel’s policies.
Contribute to the maximization of room revenue by identifying up
selling opportunities.
Recommend room upgrades for regular guests when appropriate, in
order to maintain the goodwill of the Hotel.
Facilitate educational tours and provide information about hotel
features to guests.
Verify that all delegated duties are performed in compliance with the
Hotel’s standards and policies.
Conduct regular spot checks within the Front Office Department
regarding procedures and service, taking corrective action when
necessary.
Oversee the implementation of all Standard Operating Procedures
( and monitor their professional execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree or Diploma from a recognised institution, Majoring in
Hotel Management or Tourism Management
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 5 9 years working experience Hospitality
industry
A minimum of 2 4 years working experience as Front Office
Manager in a 4 or 5 star Hotel
