The Payroll Manager will ensure that payroll operations are run smoothly and within set deadlines, in line with our clients ‘scope of work.
Responsibilities
- Review, monitor & deliver against customer scope of work (including continuous review)
- Lead continuous process improvement
- Co-ordinate with Global Payroll Team
- Manage operational issues/incidents- analyse root causes and foresees remediation plans
- Collaborate with Director/s to create, maintain and improve standard operating procedures for payroll
- Write and submit reports in a timely manner to management
- Manage business relationship with Partners
- Direct, administer and coordinate the internal operational activities in accordance with established policies, goals and objectives
- Provide weekly / monthly performance reviews of employees’ productivity
- ·Manage team and identify training and development
- ·Provide day to day coaching to Payroll Seniors
- Manage performance appraisals for employees including employee goal setting and personal growth plan

Education / Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Business or Finance or Computer Science
- 5 years+ experience in Payroll, preferably in the field of Payroll Outsourcing
- 3 years+ experience in supervising/leading teams
- Experience in automating analytical processes
- Working knowledge of advanced Excel and similar spread sheets including v-look ups and macros, SQL and/or other database technology tools, Visio & MS Project knowledge

The following would be an advantage: - Proven ability to manage, motivate and lead a payroll team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll services
- Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) or similar professional certification
- Six Sigma Certification
- International Exposure
- MQA Registration as Trainer
