Drymix Ltd is looking to recruit a results-driven and experienced Part Time Health & Safety Manager to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will report to the General Manager.

 

Key responsibilities:

As the Health & Safety Manager you will:

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal HS policies and standards (including ISO 45001).
  • Lead the development and implementation of HS strategies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive incident prevention and risk management initiatives, including crisis and emergency response planning.
  • Develop and monitor HS training programs to ensure employee awareness and competency.
  • Lead audits, compliance inspections, and certification processes while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate across departments to foster a proactive and positive HS culture.
  • Guide internal stakeholders on legislative changes and advise executive leadership on HS performance and risks.
  • Represent the company in dealings with external agencies and regulatory bodies, when required.

Candidate profile:

  • A Degree in Occupational Safety & Health Management.
  • Eligible for registration with the Ministry of Labour.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a managerial position with solid understanding of health and safety laws, regulations, codes of practice, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to lead incident investigations and support legal defense if required.
  • Experience across several industrial sectors is a definite advantage.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement, training, and accountability.
