What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
Development & Customer Interaction
Study customer manuals/SOPs and translate them into actionable requirements
Attend feasibility meetings and clearly articulate technical expectations
Gather details on fabric, accessories, block fits, and create compliant techpacks
Suggest innovative production-fit solutions to customers
Development Cycle Management
Monitor all milestones from receipt of techpack to style sealing
Request and follow up on:
Yarn sourcing
Fabric & flatknit development
Accessory development
Lab dips
Print & wash tests
Build Sample FOS and track fabric/flatknit readiness
Raise Sample Requests and ensure timely completion of test pieces & samples
Lead fit sessions and analyse the impact of fit comments and style updates
Request OK Specs upon approval
Prepare structured style handovers to the Merchandising team
Communicate technical details clearly to customers
Prepare costing elements (SAM, mini marker, embellishment cost, thread consumption) and create Costing Recaps for Sales
Strong aesthetic sense and excellent attention to detail
Works methodically and meets deadlines consistently
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Flexible, solution-driven mindset with adaptability to change
Deep understanding of product development processes and customer workflows
Knowledge of production automation and textile manufacturing processes
