Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Executive - IBL Energy Ltd

The O&M Executive will be responsible for establishing, structuring, and progressively leading the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) function across IBL Energy’s portfolio, including solar PV, E-Motion infrastructure, EMS installations, and other energy assets.

Job Summary

The O&M Executive will be responsible for establishing, structuring, and progressively leading the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) function across IBL Energy’s portfolio, including solar PV, E-Motion infrastructure, EMS installations, and other energy assets.

The role combines technical execution, performance monitoring, and team coordination, with a strong focus on building scalable systems, processes, and tools. Over time, the successful candidate will transition into an O&M Manager role, taking full ownership of asset performance, team leadership, and O&M business growth.

Key Responsibilities

O&M Team Setup and Structuring

• Establish the O&M department structure, processes, and governance
• Select and implement CMMS / Asset Management systems
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), work orders, and reporting frameworks
• Define maintenance strategies (preventive, corrective, predictive)

 Operations & Maintenance Execution

• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Supervise technicians and service providers
• Support troubleshooting and site interventions when required
• Ensure timely resolution of faults and incidents

 Asset performance & monitoring

• Monitor performance of PV plants, EV chargers, and EMS systems using dashboards
• Analyse performance (PR, availability, downtime) and identify optimisation actions
• Coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and contractors
• Ensure portfolio performance targets

 Client & Stakeholder management

• Act as technical focal point for O&M clients
• Manage service performance and client satisfaction (SLA, response time)
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and authorities

 Cost, Contract & Reporting

• Track O&M costs and support budget preparation
• Identify cost optimisation opportunities
• Prepare performance and operational reports
• Support contract execution and compliance

 Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Support deployment of EMS, AI tools, and predictive maintenance
• Identify performance improvement initiatives
• Contribute to development of recurring O&M/EMS business

  Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements
• Conduct audits and enforce safe working practices
• Ensure environmental compliance.

 Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Energy Engineering
• Proven hands-on experience in O&M (PV/energy systems preferred)
• Experience in solar PV systems and/or BESS / EV infrastructure
• Knowledge of monitoring systems, SCADA, or EMS platforms
• Familiarity with CMMS / asset management tools
• Experience in site supervision and coordination of O&M works
• Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites simultaneously
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management tools
• Willingness to travel to sites and valid driving license
• High ownership mindset
