We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Team Leader to supervise 5–6 mechanics, ensuring daily maintenance tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of mechanics in performing maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Plan and assign tasks based on priority and resource availability to meet operational needs.
- Monitor team performance, provide guidance and training, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with mechanical standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and team performance.
- Support inventory management for tool usage.
Other Requirements:
- At least 10 years’ experience in the automotive industry, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant technical qualification in mechanics.
- Holder of a valid driving license.
