Marketing Communications Executive supports MEA region's content, branding, and PR efforts, reporting to the Manager. Collaborates with Digital Marketing, agencies, and suppliers to deliver high-quality campaigns for lead generation and client retention.

 

C. Key Responsibilities

 

Content:

The Marketing Communications Executive coordinates the production of exceptional content and gets to the heart of the company’s story. They use best practices to create high-quality content relevant to the audience. They can contribute to developing and implementing thought leadership, public relations and branding campaigns and initiatives aligned with customer requirements, market conditions, company strategies and overall campaign success.

 

Duties inclusive of but not limited to;

  • Campaign and industry vertical messaging for delivery through printand digital distribution channels i.e. Energy Mining and Infrastructure, Non-Government Organisations, Government, Occupational Health, Corporate, Telecommunications Media and Technology etc.

  • Brochures
  • Client and prospect newsletters
  • Surveys
  • Clients utilisation/ retention programmes
  • Speaker spot presentations & messaging
  • Event invitations

PR:

Contribute to the PR pipeline, draft press materials and support all media relations initiatives.  Collaborate with the PR agency to support our following agendas, inclusive but not limited to;

  • Verticals
  • Priority countries
  • Boots on the ground
  • Clinics
  • National content
  • Public and Global Health

 

Branding:

As a brand expert and guardian within the team, brief agencies/suppliers as required to ensure creation of visually appealing, professional and on-brand marketing and communications material.

  • Design work
    • Presentation decks
    • Brochures
    • Digital visuals
    • Webinar & speaker presentations
    • Posters
    • Tender support (graphics/ tables/ ppts)
    • Social media visuals

 

Translation:

  • Simple translation of content from English to French and French to English
  • Coordination of extensive and technical translations with external translators (English, French, Portuguese, Arabic)

 

Events Management:

Support the planning and execution of events within the MEA region. These include:

  • Trade events and conferences (in-person and virtual)
  • Webinars
  • Client and prospect events
  • Joint events
  • Internal conferences

 

Marketing Support and Administration

  • Coordination of end-to-end process for content production
  • Coordination with internal and external stakeholders for marketing campaigns and projects
  • Managing relationships and timelines with suppliers and agencies
  • Handle administrative tasks in relation to jobs performed by suppliers and agencies
  • Provide support in day-to-day marketing activities as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing objectives

 

D. Job Profile

 

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong writing skills and previous experience in writing and editing content for businesses.
  • Previous experience with PR.
  • Proficient with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Skills with design software like Canva or other similar platforms
  • Ideally basic web CMS (SiteCore) and Marketing Automation(Eloqua) skills are desirable

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or any other related field;

 

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years past experience in marketing and communications - ideally within a BTB environment;
  • Hands-on experience with creation of content: design, copywriting and project management;
  • Prior exposure to digital marketing environment;
  • Prior experience working in international and multicultural environments is an advantage;

 

 

 

Required Languages

  • Excellent written and spoken English and French is an explicit requirement of the role;
  • Good command of Portuguese or Mandarin is a distinct advantage.

  • On an as needs basis according to business needs.
