Maintenance Mechanic

Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining processing and packaging equipment to ensure seamless operations. This role plays a key part in supporting both preventive and corrective maintenance activities while contributing to the installation of new machinery.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues across mixing and packing equipment
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities on production machineries (including, but not limited to, food-grade pumps, stirrers, valves, pistons, conveyors, etc.).
• Maintain and monitor spare parts inventory related to mixing and packing equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper organisation
• Install and assist with the commissioning of new machines
• Identify and report mechanical improvements to enhance equipment performance
• Collaborate with internal team, as well as contractors, in the execution of ongoing projects
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols compliant with food manufacturing standards
• Help in the maintenance of auxiliary systems such as boilers, air compressors, and refrigeration systems or any other major breakdown in the utilities section (under supervision)
