We are looking for a dynamic Sales Coordinator - Events to join the Groups & Incentives department based at Bel Ombre.

 

Overview of the Role:

As a Sales Coordinator - Events, the role involves supporting the implementation of the commercial and sales strategy with a focus on generating revenue for the groups, incentives, and events segment at Rogers Hospitality. The position plays a key role in assisting senior management to achieve annual revenue objectives, while also coordinating partnerships to enhance visibility and foster growth across all Rogers Hospitality business units, with particular attention to strategic focus areas.

This position will be posted in Bel Ombre.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategic sales planning and support the execution of annual MICE and group business development plans.
  • Proactively identify new market opportunities and propose initiatives to boost sales and revenue.
  • Maintain strong awareness of market trends, competitors, and key industry players.
  • Build lasting relationships with corporate clients, DMCs, wedding planners, and event organizers.
  • Coordinate and lead personalized site visits, eductours, and client familiarization experiences.
  • Plan, organize, and execute events (e.g., weddings, gala dinners, team building) from proposal to on-site delivery.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences through close collaboration with operations and guest-facing teams.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, event materials, budgets, and logistics documentation with precision.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manage end-to-end event logistics including setup, delivery, and post-event wrap-up.
  • Oversee financial coordination including client invoicing and payment follow-up with Finance.
  • Drive internal collaboration across departments to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with brand standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with SOPs, policies, and quality standards in all aspects of event and sales execution.

 

Candidate's Profile:

  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or any other acceptable qualifications would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in sales & marketing in the tourism sector would be a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Fluent in French and English, both written & spoken
  • Strong organization skills and attention to details
  • Strong relationship-building, networking, and negotiation abilities
  • Valid driving license & own vehicle is a must for this role
