To ensure that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules.
MAIN DUTIES
- Liaise with FSU/FIU on AML/CFT issues and FSC surveys
- Provide all updates in the legal fields and compliance issues
- Draft and revise all legal documents and advise clients on clients on applicable laws in Mauritius
- Review standard documentation, memos and presentations
- Responsible for all legal aspects and statuary requirements if in-house companies
- Review of all companies’ files
- Follow up on all on-going litigation
- Drafting of newsletter and articles
- Daily compliance reports
- Any other cognate duties as may be directed by the Managing Director and/or any Departmental Manager
SKILLS
- Dynamic, organised and able to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in oral and wrtitten english and French
- Able to work in a team, under pressure and take initiatives
