Laundry Attendant

To ensure the cleanliness and condition of linen and uniforms are in accordance with hotel standards and that guest expectations are achieved

1. To receive, sort and count all linen and uniforms as per the hotel procedure.
2. To prepare clean linen and uniforms for issue on a daily basis.
3. To check condition of uniforms and send damaged ones to seamstress for repair.
4. To check condition of hotel linen ensuring soiled or damaged items are kept separately. 
5. Reports engineering failures and breakdowns to immediate supervisors.
6. Maintains linen room in a clean and tidy condition.
7. Ensures linen and uniforms are properly stored and par levels maintained.
8. Assists in linen and uniform inventory control
9.  Ensures cleaned guest laundry is delivered accurately and on time. 
10. Executes departmental administration filling in forms and checklists as required on time.
