Departmental Objective

  • To create and implement a project administration process, project plan and project system across all departments.
Primary Job Purpose
  • To assist in the monitoring, controlling, tracking and communication of a project's performance.
Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyse, review & document the requirements of a project throughout its lifecycle
  • Establishing clear project plans templates for each project
  • Coordinating with stakeholders frequently for updates on project status
  • Effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Informing stakeholders about abnormalities or variance in advance
  • Update and maintain project/financial reporting tools and/or computer software systems and filing systems
  • Frequently update Line Manager of responsibilities
  • Create study specific agreements, service requests or contracts per request from Senior Project Administrator or Line Manager
  • Distribute, track, and file all agreements generated and authorized
  • Perform duties according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform duties to comply with the relevant study agreements
  • Perform additional tasks and activities as delegated and allocated by the Line Manager or designee
Qualification, Training and Experience Requirements
  • Relevant degree or three-year diploma and at least 1-2 years' experience, and
  • English speaking

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Communicate effectively by talking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Any pertinent local legislative requirements
Work Environment
  • The employee is required to: work in an office/laboratory/field study environment and be available for work during normal work hours as well as after-hours according to pre-arranged departmental schedules that may require evening, weekend, and public holiday work
Compliance Requirements
  • Perform duties according to company quality accreditation status (e.g., GLP/GCP as is relevant), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs) and in line with the relevant study protocols or study plans
  • Perform duties to comply with legislation regulations, standards, and system requirements
  • Observe occupational health and safety regulations
  • Identify, record and report incidents, maintenance faults and issues impacting animal health, biosafety, injuries, and other relevant company operations
  • Work outcomes and behaviour should be in accordance with company and departmental standards as well as values and ethics. Continuous evaluation and/or testing will be used to determine compliance thereto
  • Meet continuous professional development requirements, if relevant, inclusive of registration and points requirements with the relevant council, institutions, etcetera
  • Continuous training, development and supervision are mandatory to comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines and job role standards
