Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, a Private Equity Firm, specialized in high potential Mauritian SMEs and forming part of a major local conglomerate, is looking for an Investment Manager.

 

Our client, a Private Equity Firm, specialized in high potential Mauritian SMEs and forming part of a major local conglomerate, is looking for an Investment Manager.

Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will contribute to the deal pipeline through deal origination, networking and business development initiatives.

Main responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate the investment process through performing the following tasks:

  • Review and critically assess business plans.
  • Develop comprehensive, detailed financial models tailored to the specifics of each investment opportunity.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and stress tests.
  • Conduct valuation of potential target companies.
  • Design proper deal structures and instruments to reconcile the interests of The Company with that of the target company.
  • Estimate potential returns on investments.
  • Participate in the commercial / financial due diligence processes in close cooperation with external advisors where needed.
  • Participate in, and coordinate legal advisors’ works on transactional documentation including: Term Sheets, Share Purchase Agreements, Shareholders Agreements, etc.
  • Preparing Investment Memorandums / Presentations for the Investment Committee.
  • Assist in evaluating strategic options and exit scenarios for portfolio companies

Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in one or more of the following fields: transaction advisory services in a major accounting firm; corporate & investment banking; private equity; M&A; corporate finance.

Candidate profile:

  • Expertise in financial modelling;
  • Proficiency in structuring investment transactions;
  • Proven analytical skills;
  • Advanced skills in Excel other MS Office suite applications;
  • Comfortable interacting with Senior Management;
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to think “out of the box”;
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines;
  • Demonstrated organizational skills;
  • Flexibility, resilience and adaptability;
  • Detailed oriented and a having a ‘can do attitude’;
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in both English and French.
