The Digital and Technology Team seeks an IT System Infrastructure Lead for maintaining, upgrading, and managing the current infrastructure, cloud environment and application support.

 

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Install, configure and maintain software, hardware and applications.
  • Manage network servers, technology tools, cloud-based solutions and application deployment.
  • Monitor system performance, project future capacity, and identify and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application issues.
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages in both infrastructure and applications.
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups, firewalls and company policies.
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
  • Responsible for thorough technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
  • Design and implement company policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on information security architecture, systems engineering and application support.
  • Prepare status reviews and reports.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure, applications and future trends.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

•      Degree in an Information Systems or Information Security or a Computer Science discipline.

•      At least 5 years relevant experience in similar position.

 

OTHER REQUISITES

•      Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.

•      Familiar with ITIL, COBIT, ISO27001.

•      Knowledge of O365 Administration, active directory and application support.

•      Knowledge of cloud solutions, system security and data backup/recovery.

•      Familiarity with PowerShell, various operating systems, and platforms.

•      Understanding of security processes and utilisation of security tools.

•      Experience of supporting security requirements in IT, network and application technologies.

•      Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in both English and French, negotiation, presentation skills and time management skills.

•      Result-oriented professional with strong problem-solving ability.

•      Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

•      Team Management experience.
