IT Recruiter

BDO IT Consulting Ltd is looking for an experienced IT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. The successful candidate will handle all aspects of the recruitment process for professionals in the IT field.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

• Sourcing/Headhunting all levels of candidates for leading global businesses, covering the Mauritian and International markets.

• Screen and interview candidates to ensure that the best quality candidates are put forward.

• Hiring graduates and interns from universities. Establish yearly calendar for graduates and internship as per managers requirements.

• Set up high level hiring strategies with a tailored approach.

• Keep up-to-date with latest industry trends to ensure candidates can be evaluated against industry standards assessments.

• Network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our brand and ensure we attract the best professionals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand role requirements in order to source the most suitable candidates.

• Write and post job descriptions on job boards, social media and any other relevant channels.

• Consulting with managers or partners to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives.

• Source, screen and compile a shortlist of qualified candidates for various roles.

• Pre-screen candidates by performing phone interviews and organize interviews.

• Ensure that the HR System has a solid database of qualified candidates.

• Prepare periodic reports for the HR Manager about how the recruiting process is proceeding.

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in HR management or relevant field.

• At least 2 years of experience preferably in the recruitment of IT profiles.

• Prior experience in a similar capacity.

• Knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques and candidate assessment methods.

• Experience using platforms to source quality candidates.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and French.

• Strong tenacity and ability to build a solid network.

• Ability to understand and explain job requirements for various roles.
