IT Infrastructure Intern

Overall Purpose of Job Intern will join the Middle East & Africa Technology team and will be responsible in supporting IT Infrastructure environment & new requirements across the region.

Position description:

Monitor & maintain operational stability of infrastructure services across the managed region.

The key area of responsibility:

• Create & maintain related documentation of the existing infrastructure environment across the region.
• Document & maintain technology solutions being used as part of infrastructure services across the region.
• Monitor and act accordingly to ensure defined infrastructure services are within SLA agreements with the business.
• Review regular architecture and security compliance metrics related to infrastructure environment across the region – ensure all gaps and vulnerabilities are closed in a timely manner.
• Ensure infrastructure environments are patched in a timely manner while remaining in alignment to architecture and security standards.
• Participate in the preparation and evaluation of technical design for new projects / solutions and its possible improvements.
• Accompany globally managed programs across the regions for to ensure stability of the infrastructure across the region.
• Communicate and cooperate with all required teams (both internal & external to International SOS) for to reach common company goals.
• Actively participate in capacity review & planning of infrastructure environment across the region while planning & implementing mitigating steps.
• Provide the necessary support in implementing Quality standards as per Organization strategy.
• Ensure adherence to needed policies, standards, processes and procedures as defined in the team’s scope of work.
• Prepare required artefacts in a timely manner for to align to processes/procedures as per the team’s scope.
• Identify process improvement areas.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery related tasks – including active participation in Business Continuity Management activities.
• Participate on periodical review and audits of the managed infrastructure environments.
• Improve Customer Satisfaction Index consistently to achieve the Organization targets.
