Our client, a chain of supermarket operating in the retail and distribution sector, is looking for an experience and dynamic individual to join the Human Capital department as Human Capital Coordinator.

 

The incumbent will report to the Human Capital Operations Manager and will provide operational support as well as  assistance in various Human Capital projects or assignments.

Responsibilities:

Human Capital Operations:
  • Ensure that the HR systems are always up to date and well maintained.
  • Assist in compilation and consolidation of HR data and metrics for monthly reporting and provide recommendation.
  • Support HC coordinators as and when required in daily operations for the smooth running of HR functions and coordination.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to line management (e.g. coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).

Talent Acquisition:
  • Assist with the talent acquisition process and ensure than manpower planning in outlets is addressed.
  • Ensure that all employees are onboarded as per established procedure.

Industrial Relations:
  • Advise on disciplinary and grievance issues in outlets which is in line with company culture, practices and legal legislations.
  • Contribute to the IR sensibilisation implementation in Outlets.

Performance Management & Employee Engagement:
  • Assist in the implementation of the new Performance Management System in the outlets.
  • Promote a harmonious work environment in the outlets to build on employee engagement.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Assist in the time and attendance by reviewing, converting and analysing data import.
  • Participate in the Payroll process by assisting in the compilation of monthly payroll transactions and provide assistance to Outlets.
Training:
  • Assist in implementing defined training strategies in the outlets to enhance the training culture in the organization.
  • Collaborate with Training cluster to establish training and development needs.
Profile:

  • Diploma in Human Resources Management or any other equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in the retail sector will constitute an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of local labour legislations.
  • Conversant with MS Office Suite.
  • Holder of a valid driving licence.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
