Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a housekeeping department.
• Participate in frequent quality spot-checks in assigned section, with regard to procedures, hygiene, service quality, storage and par stocks, conducted by the Head Housekeeper.
• Assist superiors in efficiently implementing all SOP(s) and ascertain their professional execution.
• Inspect rooms completed by the valets in assigned section.
• Oversee that rooms have been properly cleaned in accordance with hotel standards and are ready to be released
• Report rooms that need extensive cleaning to superiors and note request on the discrepancy report.
• Report all checkouts, early make-up, guest requests and other information to valets/maids.
• Keep keys secure and monitors staff access to rooms
• Maintain worksheets for assigned area.
• Carry out rounds of assigned area, checking for any maintenance anomaly or missing amenities.
• Keep record of all deep cleaned rooms in assigned section to ensure adherence to the deep cleaning program.
