We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team. The selected candidate will ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations in line with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 2005 and promote a culture of safety across the organisation.
Implement and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and site inspections.
Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare reports.
Coordinate Health & Safety training and awareness programs.
Maintain safety documentation and records.
Liaise with external authorities (Ministry of Labour/OSHA Unit, Fire Services, etc.).
Assist with emergency response and fire safety drills.
Certificate/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.
2–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Good knowledge of Mauritian Health & Safety legislation.
Strong communication and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
