We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Health Care Assistant to join our Finance team at Life Medical Clinic Bon Pasteur.

We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our healthcare team at Life Medical Clinic Bon Pasteur.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist nurses or assistant nurses in delivering nursing care to patients.
  • Work closely with patients to ensure comfort, hygiene, and safety.
  • Make beds and maintain cleanliness in patient areas.
  • Assist with patient bathing and general hygiene.
  • Accurately measure and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration.
  • Assist with serving meals to patients.
  • Order medications and drugs from the pharmacy using the prescribed logbook.
  • Maintain ward records and document patient conditions.
  • Conduct patient interviews upon admission, with relatives present, and record relevant information.
  • Coordinate the transfer or discharge of patients and notify family members accordingly.
  • Handle patient deaths with care and respect by performing last offices. 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate or Diploma in Health Care Assisting.
  • Previous experience in a similar position is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients and the public.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
  • Organized, autonomous, and respectful of instructions and hygiene standards.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
