LUX* Grand Gaube is hiring for the position of Head Housekeeper. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the successful applicant will assist in monitoring of all Housekeeping operations on a daily basis, and to provide an impeccable guest room cleaning and servicing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- School Certificate or equivalent qualifications
- National Certificate Level 4 in Housekeeping operations or equivalent qualifications.
PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE
- A minimum of 5 – 9 years of working experience preferably in the Housekeeping Department of a 5 star resort.
- A minimum of 2 - 4 years of working experience as Head Housekeeper preferably in a 4 or 5 star resort.
- International exposure in a 5 star resort hotel would be a definite advantage.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Strong interpersonal skills and outstanding customer service skills.
- Fully conversant with standard cleaning procedures and the correct usage and dosage of each cleaning chemical.
- Organised and demonstrates good planning skills.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- High responsible and reliable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends as well as on Public Holidays.
- A clean certificate of character is a must
