The United Basalt Products Limited is seeking a passionate and dynamic HR Lead.

 

Key Responsibilities

 •             Coordinate the full recruitment process: drafting role descriptions, preparing job adverts, reviewing applications, setting up interviews, and conducting reference checks.

•             Ensure onboarding activities are completed before new employees' first day.

•             Provide HR advice to managers throughout the employee life cycle, including performance management and employee relations.

•             Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee records

•             Ensure compliance with labour laws, remuneration orders, and HR policies.

•             Prepare and follow up on disciplinary actions, ensuring legal compliance.

•             Oversee payroll transactions, including new hires, leavers, promotions, allowances, and benefits.

•             Collaborate with the Learning & Development Manager on training needs analysis, succession planning, and development programmes.

•             Organise employee welfare activities and support engagement initiatives.

•             Provide dashboards and reports on HR metrics, including absenteeism, engagement, and costs.

•             Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and collaborate with the H&S Officer

  • Take part in creating and carrying out HR strategies that help business growth, workforce planning, and talent development.

Candidate Profile

•             Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification.

•             At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.

•             Strong knowledge of labour laws, remuneration orders, and HR compliance requirements.

•             Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in English and French.

•             Proficiency in MS Office; HR Information Systems knowledge is an advantage.

•             Analytical, proactive, and able to multitask effectively.

•             Valid driving license is required.
