The HR Trainee – Learning & Development (L&D) will support the planning, coordination, and execution of learning and development initiatives across the organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities

Learning & Development Support

  • Assist in organising internal and external training programmes, workshops, and learning events

  • Coordinate training logistics (venues, materials, attendance lists, invitations, calendars)

  • Support onboarding and induction programmes for new employees

  • Maintain and update training records, learning databases, and reports

  • Support e-learning platform administration and content uploads

  • Collect and consolidate training feedback and evaluation forms

  • Assist in learning needs analysis activities and surveys

HR Support Activities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR and L&D team

  • Assist with HR documentation, filing, and record-keeping

  • Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications

  • Participate in HR projects and transformation initiatives

  • Support talent development and succession planning activities

The trainee will gain exposure to:

  • Organisational learning strategy

  • Training needs analysis

  • Learning design and delivery

  • HR operations and HR systems

  • Talent development frameworks

  • Change management and organisational development

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in:

    • Human Resource Management

    • Psychology

    • Business Administration

    • Education

    • Organisational Development

    • Or related field

  • HSC holders who intend to enroll in part time HR degrees can also be considered

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proactive and willing to learn

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Interest in people development and learning

  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
