Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
Oversee general ledger entries, reconciliations, and closing of accounts.
Review and verify all financial transactions for accuracy.
Maintain proper financial documentation and records.
Monitor daily cash flow and ensure sufficient funds for operations.
Manage bank accounts, payments, deposits, and reconciliations.
Oversee receivables, payables, and supplier/customer accounts.
Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
Conduct variance analysis and highlight financial risks or issues.
Provide financial insights to support management decisions.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations: VAT, PAYE, NPF/NSF, TDS, corporate tax.
Implement and enforce internal financial controls and procedures.
Coordinate with external and internal auditors.
Review and approve purchase orders, payment vouchers, and payroll.
Support management with cost analysis and financial planning.
Ensure accurate recording of assets, liabilities, and expenses.
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
