The F&B Preventive Maintenance Executive is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing preventive maintenance activities for all Food & Beverage (F&B) equipment and facilities across the property.
Job Purpose
You will be the link between the office and the shop floor with regards to the preventive maintenance planning and execution in accordance with the production planning and stock in warehouse.
The planning should be dynamic, up to date and contains all relevant information such as time required for maintenance, manpower, ensure all spares availability in the store, setting priority of the maintenance etc.
Working Hours: You will be required to work from 08:30 am to 17:00 pm and may need to work on odd hours whenever requested by the company.
Duties
- Plan, prepare and execute the preventive maintenance planning in accordance with the production planning and warehouse stock.
- Participate to regular synchronization planning meetings with Production Planners and F & B Maintenance Manager.
- Record the preventive maintenance done on the machine with planned vs actual maintenance done and propose CAPA for continuous improvement (and lead their implementation).
- Be key participant of PFMEA (with Production/Quality team) and MFMEA (with Maintenance team) in the exercise of analysing and mitigate the risks within our Production & Maintenance processes.
- Make sure that you get validation of your reporting Line Manager and F & B Factory Manager before the planning is circulated and implemented.
- Implement preventive (and corrective if required) maintenance plans regarding all range of equipment while considering safety, security, risk, production priorities and constraints.
- Ensure prompt trouble shooting and repairs pertaining to breakdown.
- Implement means to optimize energy in the plants. Be force of proposal.
- Keeping data on all maintenance aspects, break downs, energy audit, analysing, submitting reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) and taking appropriate corrective action.
- Impart preventive maintenance training to the technicians and operators if required.
- Completes all projects by supervising installations & resolving design issues.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, quality, and HACCP standards while meeting maintenance performance targets.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with codes and legal regulations.
- Perform any other cognate duties related to the Production as assigned by the F & B Maintenance Manager or Management.
- Also, as additional non-planning activities, you will be responsible to corrective maintenance on machines, KPIs, and propose corresponding CAPA. These concerns: OEE of machines, yield and all kinds of reject.
- Implementation of 6S and other lean manufacturing practices in the department, along with F & B Factory Department programs.
- In the case of the F & B Technical Manager absence, you shall be the Deputy for CM/PM.
- Any other cognate duties as and when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in preventive maintenance, preferably within the hospitality or F&B industry.
Hands-on experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
Understanding of safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards in F&B operations.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
Flexibility to work in shifts or on-call, as required.
