Electrician

The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment.

• Respond promptly to electrical faults, power failures, and maintenance requests.

• Carry out preventive maintenance as per the hotel’s maintenance schedule.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and hotel policies.

• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.

• Maintain electrical panels, generators, UPS systems, and lighting controls.

• Support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs.

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.

• Coordinate with other engineering team members and external contractors when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certificate or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a recognized electrician trade qualification.

• Valid electrician license (where applicable).

• Previous experience as an electrician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and safety standards.

• Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies.

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
