The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and supervising electrical systems within the building services scope, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and construction standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate electrical design drawings and MEP layouts
- Supervise installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, low-voltage (ELV) systems, and fire alarm systems
- Ensure MEP works are executed according to project specifications, standards, and safety regulations
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of systems
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Assist in procurement, technical evaluation of materials, and subcontractor coordination
- Prepare reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in MEP design and construction
- Familiarity with building services, including lighting, power, ELV, and fire alarm systems
- Knowledge of construction standards, regulations, and health & safety practices
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
