The Electrical Engineer will lead a team of electrical tehnicians and operators and ensure that all electrical equipment is maintained to promote optimal output and reliability.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, install and maintain electrical systems and equipment within the sugar cluster including MV (medium voltage) Switchgears, Power Transformers, MV (medium voltage)/ LV (low voltage) electric motors, MCC (motor Control Centre) and control panels to ensure they operate effciently and reliably.
- Ensure that all electrical systems and equipment comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Implement energy management strategies to optimise energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption within the sugar including energy audits, identifying energy-saving opportunities and implementing energy-efficient technologies.
- Provide training and guidance to electrical technicianand operators on electrical systems and equipment.
- Manage projects within deadline and budget.

Qualifications:
- BEng Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, BSc in Electromechanical Engineering or any other alternative equivalent qualification
- At least three (3) years' relevant working experience
- Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) would be advantage
