Analytical underwriting role involving risk assessment, quotation preparation, policy processing, and coordination with reinsurers, ensuring compliance and high service standards.

Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about risk assessment?

Do you enjoy working with data, negotiating terms, and ensuring every policy issued meets the highest standards? If you're ready to take your underwriting skills to the next level, Quantum Insurance wants to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

As an Underwriter at Quantum Insurance, you will play a critical role in reviewing insurance applications, preparing accurate quotations, and coordinating with reinsurers to ensure the best terms for our clients. You'll also collaborate with internal teams to process policies efficiently and maintain compliance with company guidelines.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Assessing risks and underwriting insurance applications in line with internal standards.
  • Preparing quotations and Probable Maximum Loss (PML) sheets for approval.
  • Coordinating with reinsurers and brokers for quotations and renewal terms.
  • Where applicable, processing new, renewal, and endorsement policies within set timelines.
  • Managing policy documents and communicating directly with clients when needed.
  • Reviewing claims experience and proposing necessary adjustments to terms.
  • Ensuring all policies meet compliance and KYC requirements.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong grasp of business insurance practices. You enjoy working behind the scenes but know how to step in and take charge when accuracy and timelines matter most.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • A degree or progression towards an Advanced Diploma in Insurance or related qualification.
  • 3–5 years of experience in underwriting or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Solid understanding of insurance operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently while staying connected with team objectives.

Why Join Quantum Insurance?

At Quantum, we combine professionalism with a people-first approach. You’ll be part of a collaborative team in a growing, forward-thinking company that values integrity, innovation, and excellence.
