The Director of Operations/Project Director will be responsible for leading and managing the organization's operation and project function across multiple properties and business sectors of our hospitality group with the project growing to more than 320 villas residences and penthouses.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company growth and revenue by setting operational standards, strategies and targets, managing and developing of the entire project teams, and analysing performance and competitor activities.
- Play a vital role in the organization's success.
- Accountable for meeting or exceeding the quality targets, revenue targets, which directly impact the groups’ growth and profitability.
- Developing and executing effective operational strategies, the Director of Operations can make or break a company's ability to perform in the market.
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with developers, guests and residents, which can lead to long-term partnerships and revenue streams and the required guest satisfaction.
- Collaborating with other departments and other stakeholder to achieve business objectives.
- Must balance short-term operational requirements with long-term strategic objectives, providing guidance and direction to the team while making data-driven decisions to drive quality and revenue.
Profile
- Project development mind-set and operational hands-on leader
- Have a strong organisational and leadership skill and collaborative management style
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate operational and sales strategies
- Understanding of hospitality excellence in luxury operational environment
- Experienced in sales automation tools and technologies for residential services and hospitality
- Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
- Excellent operational and selling capabilities and the ability and desire to coach residential themed techniques to Team Members
Qualification
- Holder of an acceptable qualification in Operation, Project Management, Sales, Business or related field from a recognised institution
- More than 10 years of progressive experience in residential management/hospitality/real estate management/project development, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally within hospitality sector
