Dev Opps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOpps Engineer. Your expertise in SQL and Microsoft Visual Studio/Power BI/Report Builder will be essential in supporting our team's efforts to analyse data and provide valuable insights to our business stakeholders.

Duties

• Collaborate with project management teams, request owners, business analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define reporting needs through appropriate documentation.
• Develop and maintain standardized templates, reports, and workflows in the business applications. 
• Ensure accuracy and quality through testing of templates, reports, and workflows prior to any live implementation.
• Ensure that the request for a new report, template and workflow is raised in the set change management framework.
• Train end-users and produce guidance notes on how to use the applications and the built reports, templates, and workflows. 
• Ensure all reports, templates and workflows are stored in the Trident Knowledge Library.

Qualifications and Skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. 
• At least 2 years of experience in building and maintaining templates, reports, and workflows in database software. 
• Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Word, Excel and SSRS knowledge  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Familiarisation with service desk management, ITSM or other ITIL related practices favoured.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as they will be responsible for managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
• Knowledge in Viewpoint and report builder not essential, however, would be considered as an advantage.
