Seeking skilled and reliable culinary professional, to be responsible for kitchen operations during night shift.

 

Qualifications:

  • Certificate in cooking
  • Relevant experience in cooking 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for late night kitchen operations.
  2. Ensure timely service for in room dining orders and late night dining orders.
  3. Ensure mis en place for breakfast operations.
  4. Has the ability to work independently.
  5. Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality service to the hotel guests.
  6. Works in the designated station as set by Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef.
  7. Able to organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders.
  8. Able to prepare and serve food within recommended period to meet guests' expectations.
  9. Able to operate kitchen equipment like braising pan, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
  10. Able to produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner for the guests or staff.
  11. Responsible to maintain cleanliness, sanitation at the assigned work area.
  12. Responsible for preparing and cooking all food items by the recipe and to specification.
  13. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  14. Prepare all menu items by strictly following recipes and yield guide.
  15. Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  16. Prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of meats, vegetables, soups, breakfast dishes, and other food items.
  17. Slices, grind and cook meat and vegetables using a full range of cooking methods.

Other requirements:

  • Willingness to work on night shifts independently
  • Loves cooking
  • Able to on Night Shifts or afternoon shifts
  • Flexibility to work during week-end as per a roster plan
  • Good manners and good attitude
  • Willing to learn and work under guidance, in a team
  • Enjoys good health
